Sauces are an essential element of cooking, enhancing flavors, adding depth, and providing textural contrast to a dish. By understanding the fundamental rules of sauce-making, you will learn to craft rich, flavorful, and harmonious sauces to suit any dish. This class will teach you the basics of sauce making, and together we’ll make several elevated sauces:

  • Classic French mother sauce bechamel that we’ll turn it into a velvety Mornay (perfect for vegetables, chicken, or fish)

  • Provençale-style tomato-based sauce

  • Versatile restaurant-style pan sauce (served over chicken)
